The Punch Press Operator role involves safely operating punch press equipment to produce high-quality stamped metal components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Sets up and operates different types of spot welders and H-clips for steel.
- Forms liners within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the blueprints/route sheets.
- Fits and positions product weldments using welding fixtures, jigs, and rollers.
- Recognizes and understands the functions and capabilities of the welder and related equipment.
- Communicates effectively with others on the assembly line to maintain production rate.
- Completes all applicable paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Utilizes mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to complete daily tasks.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in work area and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains routed standards and other key job performance metrics.
- Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours as needed.
- Assists other departments as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information
- This role is on 2nd Shift (3:00PM – 11:30PM).
- The position is located on-site at the manufacturing facility in Greeneville, TN.
