Brunswick is a global marine leader focused on innovation and next-generation technologies. As a Welder for Lowe Boats, you will contribute to assembling aluminum boats and subassemblies, ensuring high-quality standards in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble aluminum boats and subassemblies.
- Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
- Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
- Set up equipment and weld parts using gas-shielded arc or gas welding equipment.
- Follow quality systems procedures.
Requirements
- Self-starter and team player with good safety awareness.
- Ability to stand, bend, and twist for a 10-hour shift.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in welding or weld training preferred.

Additional Information
- May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area.
- Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs.
- Exposed to noise, dust, fumes, and odors daily.
- PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves.
