Overview

Stellar Energy is seeking a Structural Welder to perform various welding functions on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. The company provides cooling solutions for data centers and industrial manufacturing, focusing on scalable and customizable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Fluent in understanding job specific WPS / PQR’s and capable of setting machine up for performance in all positions to certified testing criteria.
• Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and the application thereof to assembly components on piping and structural systems.
• Identify, measure, hand dress, cut, and fit metal surfaces for welding process per job specific requirements.
• Conduct visual observation of pre and post-welded surfaces and interpret fulfilled job requirements using precision measuring instruments.
• Interpret insufficient weld criteria and efficiently blend to repair.
• Monitor quality, safety, and health regulations while completing daily work assignments.
• Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.
• 6+ years’ experience in Welding SMAW, FCAW and GTAW, or a combination is preferred.
• 2 years vocational technical training is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.

Additional Information

• This position is full-time and operates out of fabrication facilities in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX.
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work.
• Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day.
