Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to interpret and work from detailed blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately fabricate and weld components
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Fabricate metal structures, parts, and assemblies according to project requirements
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and deadlines
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize fabrication processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder and fabricator, with a strong understanding of welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in operating welding equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical dexterity and stamina to perform demanding tasks
