Overview

As a Welder at Schupan's Covington facility, you will utilize various welding techniques to join metal components and fabricate precision products. The company promotes a people-first culture and offers opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all welding machinery.
• Identify the most efficient weld type based on work order/prints.
• Proficiently operate MIG and TIG welding equipment and other tools.
• Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform required maintenance for the fabrication department.
• Comply with mandated ISO quality procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist in performing inspections of parts.
• Provide support to other manufacturing and quality personnel.
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with MIOSHA regulations.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Technical school completion or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior welding experience and/or training preferred.
• Proficiency with MIG and/or TIG welding; knowledge of oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, prints, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office or similar systems.

Additional Information

• Full-Time, 2nd Shift -- Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM.
• Weekly pay.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the 1st of the month after hire.
