Overview

Wenger Corporation is a leading manufacturer of high-quality music education, performing arts, and athletic products. They are seeking a Welder | Metal Fabricator to operate metal forming equipment and MIG weld while adhering to quality and quantity standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate various metal fabrication equipment including MIG welders, press brake, shear, and forming machine.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Determine materials required and follow production order tasks.
• Manufacture products to meet specifications.
• Inspect parts thoroughly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers.
• Basic math, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to operate hand tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
• Vocational/technical school welding certificate (preferred).
• 6 months of MIG welding experience (preferred).
• English proficiency is required.
