The Cactus Wellhead position in Bossier City, LA involves fabricating and repairing products using welding equipment. The role emphasizes safety and compliance with quality and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Review layouts, prints or drawings in preparation for welding or cutting metal components.
• Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding.
• Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding type material.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Perform and pass an ASME/AWS weld test.
• Knowledge of machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong math skills and proficient reading.
• Experience in planning and scheduling.
• Effective communication skills.

Additional Information

• This position operates in an industrial/field environment.
• Requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift).
• Climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Work in confined spaces when required.
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools.
• Perform repetitive movements.
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions, loud noise levels, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
• Work around moving mechanical parts in hot and cold temperatures.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
• Participate in regular safety training and complete required safety certifications.
• Comply with all environmental regulations.
• Pre-employment drug screening, background checks, medical examinations, and safety certifications may be required.
