Overview

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Welders Fabricators for a fabrication shop in New Albany, IN. This is a great opportunity for a skilled trades professional looking for steady hours and the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work specifications.
• Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications.
• Set up and safely operate fabrication and welding equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and STICK processes as required.
• Measure and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements.

Requirements

• Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Additional Information

• Location: New Albany, IN
• Pay: Up to $26/hour
• Schedule: 40+ hours per week
• Job Type: Contract to Hire
