Overview

The Senior Roll Off Welder position at WM involves performing preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing major components on compactors and containers. WM is committed to creating opportunities for its employees and fostering a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on compactors, containers, and carts.
• Conduct moderately complex welding processes on various materials.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software.
• Conduct safety checks on compactors and containers.
• Perform service calls for compactor repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Engage in related work such as flame cutting, bending, and forming metal and plastic parts.
• Estimate time and material costs on repairs and requisition new parts.
• Inspect the quality of outside repairs and rebuilds.
• Develop fixtures for unique units and select optimum welding processes.
• Provide guidance to lower-level maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license upon hire.

Additional Information

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays.
