G & W Products is a recognized leader in contract metal manufacturing and fabrication, founded in 1968. They offer a wide range of services and have multiple openings for 1st shift Weld positions in their modern facilities located in Fairfield, OH.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprint specifications to weld and fabricate parts according to customer designs.
• Align, fit, and weld parts together.
• Set up and operate hand tools.
• Verify that fabricated components meet design requirements.

Requirements

• Previous weld experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Familiarity with welding tools and adherence to safe procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Follow quality standards by paying close attention to detail.
• Ensure work is performed safely.
• Ability to lift raw materials as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Must be able to weld and fabricate components by interpreting and analyzing drawing files.
• AWS certification history is a plus.
• Must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the weld certification process during the interview.
• Must be able to pass D1.1, D1.3 weld certification within weeks of hire.

• 1st shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm.
