Overview

This position is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation for qualified candidates to work with the US Army Garrison's Directorate of Public Works, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Responsibilities

• Perform at the full journeyman level in installation, fabrication, modification, maintenance, and repair of high temperature water and high/low pressure steam piping systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of plumbing fixtures, equipment, and systems with minimal instructions.
• Determine welding techniques and select proper materials for welding.
• Interpret and apply building plans, sketches, and blueprints.
