Job Description
Overview
The PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR will lead operations in the PIPE/FLEX HOSE SHOP, HULL DIVISION, REPAIR DEPARTMENT (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY, overseeing the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of submarine piping systems.
Responsibilities
- Remove, repair, manufacture, and reinstall piping systems and equipment aboard ships and submarines.
- Lead and supervise other pipefitters in their work.
- Develop training curriculum and materials for classroom and shop training.
- Provide demonstrations of proper work methods and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of procedures, policies, and directives related to pipefitting operations.
- Troubleshoot submarine piping systems and equipment.
- Plan weekly work schedules, determine assignments, and establish deadlines.
