Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or welding certification is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience performing TIG welding on a variety of metals according to specifications.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Knowledge of welding equipment, measuring tools, and quality inspection procedures.
  • Ability to safely set up welding equipment and maintain a clean work area.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous TIG welding, fabrication, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial welding experience is preferred.
  • Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, or specialty alloys is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, or Lean manufacturing is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, reliability, and pride in craftsmanship are well positioned for success as a Welder.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive welding tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and position materials or fabricated components weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate welding equipment, grinders, and fabrication tools.
  • Ability to safely work around welding equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment.

What You Will Do As a Welder you will perform TIG welding on fabricated components, interpret blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, inspect completed welds, operate fabrication equipment, verify measurements, maintain welding equipment, and support safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing operations while producing high-quality finished products.

The Welder supports manufacturing operations by producing clean, accurate welds that meet engineering specifications and quality standards. This role requires technical skill, patience, and strong attention to detail.

A successful Welder understands TIG welding processes, fabrication methods, blueprint reading, and quality inspection while maintaining safe welding practices. Reliable performance contributes directly to manufacturing success.
