Overview

In Motion Systems Group and Hydraulic Actuator Division is seeking a Welder for their 1st shift in Enumclaw, WA. The role involves preparing and welding products and components using various techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Welds metal components together with a variety of welding techniques and equipment.
  • Sets up machines and selects proper electrodes.
  • Handles and positions work with or without use of fixtures.
  • Follows WPS.
  • Performs SPCs.
  • Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for assembly.
  • Completes additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Maintains applicable WABO certification.
  • Inspects own work and meets applicable standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 year of spray transfer experience.
  • Production welding experience preferred.
  • Understanding of basic welding symbols.
  • Sound knowledge of weld quality and ability to perform basic visual inspection of welded parts.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others as a participative team player.

Additional Information

  • 1st shift schedule: 5 AM to 1:30 PM.
