Overview
The Assembler position at Snap-on involves the construction of mechanical subassemblies or entire units using light powered electrical or mechanical tools. The role requires performing repetitive manual operations and maintaining a safe work environment, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday and occasional overtime.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of some or all product lines using both manual and mechanical means
- Capable of calibrating, building, and finaling
- Capable of laser set up and operations
- Maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or minimum one-year equivalent manufacturing experience
- Soldering and assembly experience strongly preferred
- Must be literate and fluent in English; able to read, write and speak
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment
- Motivated with the ability to work independently and with the team
- Very strong organizational skills
- Ability to train colleagues, new hires and temporary staff
- Ability to prioritize and focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines

Additional Information
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday 5 AM - 1:30 PM with 2 - 3 Saturdays a month and possible two hours of daily overtime
