Overview

The Assembler position at Snap-on involves the construction of mechanical subassemblies or entire units using light powered electrical or mechanical tools. The role requires performing repetitive manual operations and maintaining a safe work environment, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly of some or all product lines using both manual and mechanical means
  • Capable of calibrating, building, and finaling
  • Capable of laser set up and operations
  • Maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or minimum one-year equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Soldering and assembly experience strongly preferred
  • Must be literate and fluent in English; able to read, write and speak
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment
  • Motivated with the ability to work independently and with the team
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Ability to train colleagues, new hires and temporary staff
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines

Additional Information

  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday 5 AM - 1:30 PM with 2 - 3 Saturdays a month and possible two hours of daily overtime
  • Salary: $19.65
