Overview

TEAM, Inc. is a global leader in Hot Tap Services, providing specialized services to various industrial sectors. They are looking for an entry-level technician apprentice with mechanical aptitude and a strong safety mindset to assist in Hot Tap and Line Stop operations.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety procedures and job documentation.
• Train and learn Hot Tap and Line Stop operations according to technician certification.
• Create safe entries into pipes or vessels under pressure or vacuum.
• Assist with hot taps and conventional line stops.
• Perform hot stops, Hi-Stops®, Super Hi-Stops®, double line stops, 45-degree angle taps, tee stops, elbow stops, across-the-line stops, through the line valve stops, and freeze stops.
• Attend and complete required training to maintain and improve skills.
• Identify circumstances requiring proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Maintain all tooling and equipment, documenting all service activities as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical school, industry, or relevant training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Additional Information

• Position based out of a TEAM field office or client site.
• Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant or pipeline atmosphere.
• Must interact with crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Working in areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Must wear safety equipment as required.
• May travel out of town periodically.
