The A Body Technician - Painter at Werner Enterprises is responsible for repairing cab and body damage on Diesel Tractors, including various components and accessories. The role involves assessing damage, performing repairs, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess body and mechanical repairs needed on semi-tractor and determine necessary parts and supplies required.
• Perform cab and body repairs including surface preparation, bondo and fiberglass work, welding, sealing, sanding, primer, and painting.
• Repair and replace cab, sleeper, hood, bumpers, steps, and all related body parts.
• Document completed repairs on a Work Order.
• Operate Tractor by locating it, driving it into the shop, and parking it after repairs.
• Clean work area including floors, lot, and common areas, and store and clean tools and equipment.
