Overview
Tomorrow RNG is a renewable natural gas producer focused on reducing emissions and creating a greener future. The Landfill WellField Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain valves, well heads, gas lines, and well extensions in demanding field conditions.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to established field maintenance procedures and design standards.
- Understand and properly identify and use materials and tools for well field operations.
- Become familiar with basic operating procedures for field maintenance duties.
- Make daily Well/Pump rounds following guidelines and time management.
- Install, pull, troubleshoot, clean, and test pump(s).
- Assist with extending gas wells under supervision.
- Know when you have vacuum surging during vacuum surveys.
- Develop basic knowledge of GCCS components and various well functions.
- Perform basic heavy equipment operation skills and inspections.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to the maintenance log.
- Communicate effectively with all teams on location.
- Assist in various tasks during upset conditions.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in shop, storage, and UTV areas.
- Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and education.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must clear background check and drug test.
- Enjoys working outdoors in all elements.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Fundamentals of working with computers and navigating Microsoft applications.
- Ability to multitask and be self-directed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Good manual dexterity and physical ability to work extended hours.
Additional Information
- Must live within 45 minutes of assigned site/area (Garland, TX).
- Flexibility is essential as the role will be on-call and may require responding to unexpected issues.
