Job Description

Overview

As a Pump Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions, your primary focus will be to ensure that our units in the field and inventory are in optimal operating condition. This includes driving to customer locations to perform repairs and maintenance, as well as handling advanced repairs on returned units.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to maintain and repair equipment on-site.
  • Open locks/doors and perform minor mechanical repairs.
  • Evaluate and repair pumps and hoses.
  • Set up and disassemble equipment.
  • Pressure wash and clean equipment.
  • Label, manage inventory, and document repairs.
  • Load and unload equipment.
  • Support yard operations by cleaning and repairing rental equipment.
  • Perform minor welding, electrical work, and pump repairs.
  • Clean tanks, repair berms, and handle other yard tasks.
  • Document completed work and update maintenance records.
  • Disassemble, evaluate, and repair rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace defective parts as needed.
  • Accurately document work performed and follow all company safety protocols.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory control or field service experience, required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, required.
  • Welding experience, preferred.
  • Must obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
  • Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in the rental/pump industry, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, often with minimal supervision.
