Overview

As a Construction Inspector I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects, with a focus on welding inspection. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and gain valuable experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of structural steel welding, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Requirements

  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is mandatory.
  • Extensive knowledge of structural steel welding codes and standards, such as AWS D1.1.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, including ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing devices.
