Overview
DAC Worldwide is seeking a skilled Machinist/Fabricator to produce high-quality components for technical training systems. This role offers a stable work environment with opportunities for career growth within a family-owned company.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual machining operations including drilling, shearing, deburring, cutting, and bench work.
- Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct manufacturing defects.
- Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and production aids as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of machining experience.
- Experience with milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, and bench operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.

Additional Information
- Monday-Friday | Day Shift.
- Standard hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- No required overtime.
- No mandatory weekend work.
