Overview

We are looking for a skilled and certified TIG Welder to fabricate, weld, and polish light fixture parts with attention to detail for a high quality finished product. This position is for the second shift, working four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform seamless welding of products to a high quality standard utilizing skills in TIG welding of thin gauge aluminum.
  • Prepare, debur, polish, and set up welding jobs.
  • Pay attention to details, fit, and finish to ensure high quality of finished product.
  • Be dependable, follow instructions, and solicit feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep tools in good working order.
  • Respect company resources including raw materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Willing to help around the machine shop as needed based on workload.

Requirements

  • Welding certification.
  • Experience TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum.
  • Must pass a company welding test.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and engineering/shop drawings.

Additional Information

  • Ability to lift, carry, and stack products weighing between 30 and 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand or sit at a welding or polishing station for a total of 8 hours with breaks.
