Overview

Join CRANE Cryogenics as a TIG Welder and contribute to the future of cryogenic equipment. This role involves ensuring high-quality welds and craftsmanship while working on innovative projects in the cryogenics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Wrap insulation on localized areas of the product.
  • Sharpen own tungsten.
  • Follow Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) on all certified welding jobs.
  • Adhere to welding requirements as specified in the Manufacturing Manual.
  • Contact supervision or Weld Coordinator when rework is required.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations.
  • Recommend and help implement method improvements and cost reductions.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience with thin gauge stainless steel and aluminum.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoop.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately manufacture from blueprints.
  • Ability to follow welding requirements on certified welding jobs.
