Overview

The Tiffany Workshop in Pelham, NY is renowned for its fine jewelry and collections that embody craftsmanship and quality. The Temporary Jeweler is responsible for fabricating high-end jewelry pieces in gold and platinum, adhering to Tiffany and Company standards while developing craft skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the physical construction of new and repeatable High Jewelry products according to project delivery timelines.
• Responsible for cast cleaning, assembly, and repair of platinum and gold jewelry of varying complexity with diamonds and precious stones.
• Follow directions from peer coach and management.
• Handle all diamonds and precious stones ensuring they are protected to avoid damage.
• Improve overall efficiency by adhering to prescribed routing steps and standard completion times.
• Communicate effectively to keep Manager updated on project status, issues, and concerns.
• Identify potential barriers to meeting completion timelines as soon as they arise.
• Prioritize quality by conducting self-inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform other duties as required by the business.
• Verify the accuracy of work orders in terms of tracking location and high value components.
• Notify manager of any discrepancies.
• Comply with security operating procedures.
• Put away all materials and work orders before exiting the facility.

Requirements

• Bench experience in high-end jewelry manufacturing.
• Knowledge of complex and intricate jewelry construction and polishing as well as precious metal properties.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and partnership skills.
• Ability to work overtime to support business needs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Onsite 5 days a week.
