Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support our manufacturing operations and ensure products consistently meet established quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, verniers, and other calibrated measurement tools.
  • Identify, document, and remove products that do not meet established specifications.
  • Make acceptance or rejection decisions based on inspection results.
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare reports summarizing findings and deviations from standards.
  • Recommend modifications to existing quality standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Scan and upload quality-related documents as required.
  • Perform additional quality control duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant quality control or manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of calibrated inspection tools and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read measurements using 1/8", 1/16", 1/32", and 1/64" scales.
  • Proficiency with both standard and metric measurement systems.
  • Hands-on experience using micrometers, verniers, and calipers.
  • Strong computer and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

  • Occasional Domestic/International Travel Preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and/or ladders.
  • Comfortable working in moderate manufacturing noise; occasional exposure to noise levels up to 100 dB with company-provided hearing protection.
  • Ability to perform close-vision tasks and adjust focus when inspecting components.
  • May occasionally be exposed to dust, irritants, heat, and electrical/mechanical equipment hazards.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and other personnel.
