Overview
AstroForge is on a mission to make space resources accessible on Earth by mining asteroids for valuable minerals. As an Avionics Technician, you will turn technical designs into mission-critical components, working on both space and ground systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, and integrate printed circuit boards (PCBs) and cable harness assemblies for space and ground systems.
- Fabricate and route complex harnesses, ensuring high-reliability performance for mission-critical systems.
- Perform detailed work using drawings, schematics, and instructions to fabricate and install harnesses and electrical components.
- Procure and source electrical components under the direction of leads and engineers.
- Perform rework and repairs on PCBs, cable harnesses, and other electrical assemblies.
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate electrical systems, ensuring compliance with high-reliability standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability environments, with a strong background in PCB assembly and harnessing.
- Proficiency in building and troubleshooting cable harness assemblies, including wiring and connector terminations.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with standard electronics assembly tools, hand soldering, multimeters, power supplies, and test equipment.
- IPC-620 certification (current or previous).
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.

Additional Information
- Salary range is $35 - $45 per hour.
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
