Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2 or more years of project design experience to join their team in the US, which can be worked from an office, home office, or in a hybrid model. The company is dedicated to delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools.
• Perform technical work with senior review.
• Work directly with various engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Assist with Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports, responding to RFIs, and submittal reviews.
• Travel as needed for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of recent relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.
• Working knowledge of USA National codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.
• Understanding of and experience with Revit software.
• Effective communication skills - oral and written.
