Overview

This Mid-Level Structural Engineer position at SLC involves supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects through structural engineering reviews and analyses. The role requires collaboration with multi-discipline project teams to optimize various aspects of power and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural engineering reviews
  • Prepare structural design specifications
  • Advise power project developers on new utility-scale projects
  • Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently
  • Develop technical reports for various audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with a structural specialty
  • 5+ years of detailed structural design experience
  • 3+ years of experience in structural design specific to power generation or distribution
  • Experience in writing support documentation for structural engineering specifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
