Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2 or more years of project design experience to join their team. This position can be worked from an Arcadis office, home office, or hybrid, and involves contributing to innovative design solutions across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools.
• Perform technical work with senior review.
• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Assist with Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports, responding to RFIs, and submittal reviews.
• Travel for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of recent relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.
• Working knowledge of USA National codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.
• Understanding of and experience with Revit software.
• Effective communication skills - oral and written.

Additional Information
