As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will assist in structural analysis and design, contributing to projects that transform the world for good.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis under general supervision.
  • Develop judgment in the independent evaluation and selection of engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Develop engineering judgment and problem-solving skills, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Gain knowledge of seismic design principles and apply building code provisions.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and quality control in all work.
  • Check calculations of other engineers' work.
  • Manage workload and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Define your own scope and forecast effort needed to complete tasks.
  • Identify scope changes and escalate them as needed.
  • Work in a timely and cost-effective manner with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

  • This position is considered hybrid/remote and may require working in the nearest local office or from home in the USA Southeast Region.
  • Field walks may be required, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
