As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will assist in structural analysis and design, contributing to innovative projects that transform communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering and analysis under general supervision.
• Develop judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques with guidance.
• Enhance engineering judgment and problem-solving skills, seeking guidance when needed.
• Gain knowledge of seismic design principles and apply building code provisions.
• Exhibit attention to detail and quality control in work.
• Check own work and seek peer and senior guidance when questions arise.
• Manage workload and take ownership of assigned work.
• Clearly define personal scope and forecast effort needed to complete tasks.
• Identify scope changes and escalate to the Structural Lead or Project Manager.
• Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.

Additional Information

• This position is hybrid/remote and may require working in the nearest local office or from home in the USA Southeast Region.
• Field walks may be required, including climbing ladders or crawling under raised access floors.
