Job Description

Overview

Our client in Spring Lake, MI is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as an Experienced MIG Welder. This position offers a clean and safe work environment with full-time hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
  • Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications
  • Measure and align workpieces using appropriate tools and fixtures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies
  • Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements

  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, procedures, and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squares
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own helmet and gloves
