Overview

Classic Collision, established in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, aims to provide quality service with integrity and honesty. They are looking for an Auto Body Technician to join their rapidly growing team focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage.
  • Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
  • Plan work procedure by following work order for all operations listed.
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, and equipment to gain access to damaged areas if needed.
  • Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all Classic Collision standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Successful completion of background check required.
