Overview

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a full-time Industrial Welder for the 2nd Shift in Sherman, TX. The position involves operating welding equipment, troubleshooting machine problems, and ensuring quality documentation on all parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
• ID and tag shop orders with the product.
• Retrieve/enter data into the system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
• Weld components based on print specifications.
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• AWS Weld Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years TIG/MIG Welding experience preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints and using simple measuring tools preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Information

• Core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
• Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
