Overview

MIG Welders are needed to perform welding tasks on steel and aluminum components. The role requires reading blueprints and ensuring quality in finished welds while collaborating with the production team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
  • Inspect finished welds for quality and precision
  • Operate grinders, torches, and other shop tools
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure work area safety
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • 1+ year of MIG welding experience (certification a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Knowledge of basic fabrication tools and measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently
