Overview

We are a leading metal fabrication company specializing in precision manufacturing for various industries. We seek an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team, responsible for operating press brake machines to shape metal parts according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines, adjusting tooling and programming as needed.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy using precision measuring tools.
  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards, including tolerances and finishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including setup sheets and inspection logs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and report any hazards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines.
  • Proven track record of performance focused on quality and productivity.
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with various types of press brakes and tooling setups.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required.
