Job Description
Overview
The PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR I position is located in Garden Island, Australia, and involves full supervisory responsibility over non-supervisory pipefitter mechanics within the Production Resources Australia Maintenance Support at Pearl Harbor NSY and IMF.
Responsibilities
- Exercise full supervisory responsibility over work operations involving non-supervisory pipefitter mechanics.
- Plan work schedules of subordinates and establish priorities based on general work schedules and instructions from higher levels of supervision.
- Make recommendations concerning training requirements, skills, and qualifications of personnel.
- Instruct subordinates regarding work requirements, methods, procedures, safe work practices, and scheduling requirements.
- Carry out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates.
