The Pipe Welder interprets drawings and is responsible for preparing, assembling, and welding various types of pipes and fittings for high temperature or high pressure applications using specific welding methods.

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings.
• Identifies materials.
• Prepares and assembles carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel pipe, tubes, and fittings.
• Welds pipes and fittings for high temperature or high pressure applications.
• Uses tungsten arc or metallic arc welding methods.
