Overview

We are looking for MIG welders with experience for a stable opportunity that may become permanent after 90 days. The position offers a pay rate of $17 per hour and requires the ability to work in various positions and settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding tasks.
  • Read and interpret production plans and drawings.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and prepare metal pieces.
  • Weld in horizontal, vertical, and elevated positions.
  • Use tools such as plasma cutter, grinder, and drill press.
  • Inspect the quality and measurements of welds.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with MIG welding.
  • Knowledge in reading blueprints.
  • Experience using measuring instruments.
  • Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
  • Valid forklift license.
  • Availability to train on the first shift and then work the afternoon shift.
  • Willingness to work in an outdoor yard.

Additional Information

  • Initial training will be on the first shift, after which the regular shift will be in the afternoon.
