Overview

Seeking a lead metal fabricator with at least 5 years experience in architectural metal fabrication for making custom furniture, sculpture, lighting, and architectural items. The position requires a skilled welder and versatile fabricator proficient in various tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom architectural metal items including furniture, sculpture, and lighting.
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Finish metals through polishing and patina techniques.
  • Operate manual Mill & Lathe for basic machining.
  • Familiarize with tube rolling and bending.
  • Lift heavy materials as required.
  • Operate forklift and overhead crane.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in architectural metal fabrication.
  • Skilled in MIG/TIG welding.
  • Proficient in sheet metal fabrication and metal finishing.
  • Understanding of various metals and their qualities.
  • Experience with basic machining on manual Mill & Lathe.
  • Familiarity with tube rolling and bending.
  • 100% reliability and ability to work alone.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

What you'll be running
