Overview

We are a growing structural steel installation company specializing in commercial and industrial steel erection projects throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and the Baltimore area. We are seeking experienced and motivated Field Ironworkers to join our team, with most work performed at job sites throughout the region and opportunities for overtime and prevailing wage projects.

Responsibilities

  • Erect and install structural and miscellaneous steel.
  • Bolt-up and connect steel members according to plans and specifications.
  • Perform rigging and signaling for cranes and lifting operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, erection drawings, and shop drawings.
  • Install stairs, railings, ladders, and miscellaneous metals.
  • Assist with layout and field measurements.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Travel to job sites throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and the Baltimore area.

Requirements

  • Previous structural steel erection experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Experience with rigging, connecting, and steel installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
