Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Trailer Mechanic/Welder to rebuild transfer trailers. This role requires both welding ability and strong mechanical knowledge, including working with trailer systems like air brakes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on tractor trailers
  • Repair trailer frames, floors, doors, and suspensions
  • Fabricate and install metal components as needed
  • Disassemble and reassemble trailer systems (including air brakes)
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

  • 1+ year of welding and trailer repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (trailer experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Own tools/welding gear is a plus, but not required
