Overview

Mid-State Aerospace, Inc. (MSA) is a minority woman-owned aerospace company specializing in the fabrication of precision hose assemblies and the distribution of aerospace hardware. They are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Hose Fabricator to join their growing production team.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate hose assemblies using engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Prepare components by cleaning, marking, inspecting, and organizing materials prior to assembly.
  • Assemble hose and fitting components to required specifications.
  • Perform pressure and environmental testing on completed hose assemblies.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Apply paint, coatings, and other approved compounds as required.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.
  • Identify and communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • One to two years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or related industries is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to accurately use measuring devices and basic math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and ability to meet production goals.
