Overview

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a manufacturing client in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on stainless steel fabrication and MIG welding, requiring strong welding skills and the ability to demonstrate proficiency during a weld test.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on primarily stainless steel materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Fabricate and assemble components to specification
  • Grind, fit, measure, and prepare materials for welding
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
  • Safely operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures

Requirements

  • 3+ years of MIG welding and metal fabrication experience required
  • Experience welding stainless steel is strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Stable work history preferred
