Job Description

Overview

Green PNW is a well-established, locally owned company seeking full-time welders and fabricators to build metal products for the refuse industry, including roll-off dumpsters and waste container bins. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to production.
  • Maintain welding equipment.
  • Read prints, layout, fit-up, welding, quality control.
  • Operate other shop equipment such as grinder, saw, forklift, crane, and plasma torch.

Requirements

  • Experience in MIG/GMAW welding, particularly with spray arc mig process averaging 550-700 IPM.
  • Ability to read shop drawings and be detail oriented.
  • Self-starter capable of working off little to no drawings with verbal directions.
  • Fitter/fabricator experience or heavy industrial fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize work plans and communicate effectively with fabrication personnel.
  • Maintain quality control and practice effective time management techniques.
  • Understand manufacturing methods and techniques.
