Overview

Air Liquide Large Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Pasadena, TX, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment through maintenance activities. The company provides industrial gas and energy solutions critical to various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules, inspections, and calibrations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and contribute to repair solutions.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to document work orders and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Comply with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and support during emergency breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel and engineers to improve equipment reliability.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is essential.
  • Preferred: Associate degrees in industrial maintenance or vocational school certificates in HVAC, welding, or machining.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment.
  • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, such as grinders and welding equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is often required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
  • Common certifications include Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) and relevant trade school certification.
