Job Description
Overview
Roll Welder will assemble, fit, track and weld a variety of complex fabrications and assemble of steel rolls. At SMS group, our people are our greatest asset, and we promote a culture of innovation, growth, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit, track and weld a variety of complex fabrications.
- Setup of automated welding equipment.
- Complete SOP travelers to document daily activities.
Requirements
- Existing welding knowledge encouraged but not required.
- High School diploma or GED encouraged but not required.
- Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.
- Must possess good ability to adapt to new procedures.
