Overview

Allan Myers is seeking a dedicated Process Mechanical Millwright to join their team, which focuses on heavy civil construction and infrastructure projects. The company values employee growth and offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Install interior piping including flanged ductile iron, PVC glue-joint, copper, and stainless steel press-fit.
  • Set and install large process equipment.
  • Perform concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations.
  • Handle rigging and large/heavy material movement using material handlers and cranes.
  • Complete installations using layout and instructions provided by the Field Manager.
  • Erect scaffolding and operate manlifts while working at heights and within fall protection.
  • Conduct concrete demolition using air and electric tools.
  • Cut metal and pipe using abrasive blades on grinders and portabands.
  • Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Clean tools, materials, and work areas.
  • Lead a crew of 3-5 people, explaining and directing work.
  • Adhere to construction safety protocols.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
  • GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
  • Trade School education is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
