Overview

Refresco Beverages US, Inc. is a leading global independent beverage solutions provider aiming to put their drinks on every table. They are seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to maintain production flow and adhere to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
• Read and follow the production manufacturing schedule.
• Maintain production flow by monitoring machinery and supplying raw materials.
• Follow Quality Assurance and Production line standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment changeovers and read measurements.
• Record production and quality data accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area.
• Collaborate with departments to improve quality and efficiency.
• Understand visual and auditory cues for machine issues.
• Perform minor machine maintenance.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• High School Certification or equivalent.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment preferred.
• Ability to understand production machinery and technical issues.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Skill in interpreting gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements.
• Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required.
• Work Environment: Fast-paced production plant with noise levels requiring hearing protection.
