Job Description

Overview

Castelion is rapidly developing advanced defense systems and is looking for a Night Shift CVD Operations Technician to support the development of hypersonic flight thermal protection system materials. This hands-on role involves operating CVD reactors, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support overnight operation and monitoring of CVD reactors.
  • Clean, inspect, and prepare reactors for production runs.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and document process data.
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain work areas in a safe and organized condition.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop process operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience operating technical equipment.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Comfortable working a night shift in a production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
